Hi
Is there any way to add the Select All command from the Edit menu as a
button to the toolbar just above in the read mail window? So I can
select all mail to delete.

Shouldn't be too hard, though I'm not completely certain it will work as
desired. There've been a couple of those editing commands which work fine
on a menu but fail on a button, I guess you'll have to try it and see.

I can't think of any sort of an icon to use with the button ...

Still not sure if this works properly in mail, but let me try it:

<opera:/button/Select%20all,,,%22Select%20all%22>

If that works, clicking on the above link should put a "Select all" button
into the My buttons section of the Customize dialog, which you can then
drag to your toolbar. If it doesn't work, well then we'll have to go to
plan B ...

On his website, nontroppo has a "custom button maker", the address is at

http://nontroppo.org/test/Op7/buttonmaker.html

Fill in the form and follow the instructions.

It does not work.

When I click to this button, text of active letter selected, not list of
letters.

I tested it myself after I got my message back, same. As I said, some of
those editing commands don't work as expected on buttons ...

I've tried this before and got the same result as you. Probably it's =

because of the focus.

However, putting that command into popup menu works well. I also use it =
in =

transfer panel popup menu as "Clear all".
